On eagle's wings
I was reading Psalm 91 about taking shelter under God's wings and I started to think about eagles of course Isa 40:31 is one of my favorite verses, but in the book of Revelation one of the four creatures around God's throne is eagle-like.
The Eagle Analogy
Eagles are born with big and heavy wings, and part of the survival mechanism they are born with is that they have to learn how to fly without actually flapping their big wings.
Eagles have to learn how to do this in order to conserve energy. Eagles can literally die if they expend too much energy flapping their wings during flight versus soaring.Eagles must learn this behavior very early on. To fly without flapping eagles need to learn to wait for thermal winds. This is a big ust of wind that rises up into the atmosphere.
Sometimes eagles will remain perched for days before they catch a good strong wind. Their launch is a combination of flying and soaring
Here is the gist of the analogy lock it into your memory

Just like the eagle has to learn how to catch the wind thermal in order to survive in this world, we have to learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit otherwise we are like an eagle flapping our wings doomed under the burden of trying to get loft and fly.
- The eagle is a powerful symbol in the Bible, representing God's power, protection, and sovereignty.
- It symbolizes His anointing power, the Holy Spirit, faith, belief, wisdom, and vision.
- The care of a mother eagle and the punishment of wrongdoers are used to demonstrate the eagle's significance.
- An eagle's strength, supremacy, and ability to withstand storms reflect God's handiwork.
- Soaring to new heights, the eagle can be a source of inspiration and empowerment for believers.
- God uses eagles as divine messengers to protect and guide us.
- Eagles soar above, representing God's limitless power and watchful eye over us.
- Eagles have a keen eye for detail, just like God who knows every detail of our lives.
- Trust in God's power and let Him guide you.
- Eagles remind us that God is ever-present and powerful.
So ask God to help you fly an eagle, rather than run with the turkeys.
